This is a comprehensive and highly readable text for research students. It explains complex concepts in a straightforward manner, and includes illustrations that demonstrate how ideas have been put into practice in real life research. In clear, crisp, and concise writing, the authors have managed to offer the complexities and, often, the contradictions of producing knowledge from a position of power.
