Award Season at UTP

UTP congratulates the following, and all UTP authors, who have won awards for their books.

The Person in Dementia

This week, World Alzheimer’s Day was recognized across the globe. The 2010 theme was “Dementia: It’s Time for Action!” and Alzheimer associations everywhere emphasized the need for governments and the general public to take any action possible to raise awareness of dementia and to improve service provision for people with dementia, as well as those who provide care.

Recent Award Winners at UTP

Now that Congress has concluded, and it seems as if award season has begun with a bang, I’d like to take the time to congratulate a few authors who have recently won awards.

New Year, New Intern

The byline may say Elizabeth Glenn, but this actually being written by Cailin, the new marketing intern. This is my second day, and I’m having a great time getting to know how things work here at UTP. I’m already becoming well-versed in the ancient and noble art of filing. ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ… I always thought knowing that song might come in handy someday!
