Awards:
- Unbound: Ukrainian Canadians Writing Home by Lisa Grekul and Lindy Ledohowski won the 2018 Kobzar Literary Award.
- Caroline Shenaz Hossein’s Politicized Microfinance: Money, Power, and Violence in the Black Americas won the W.E.B. DuBois Distinguished Book Award for the year 2018.
- An Exceptional Law by Dennis Molinaro, Helter-Shelter by Prashan Ranasinghe, Indigenous Women’s Writing and the Cultural Study of Law by Cheryl Suzack, The Constitution in a Hall of Mirrors by David E. Smith, and The Technoscientific Witness of Rape by Andrea Quinlan are on the shortlist for the 2018 CLSA Book Prize.
