The 5-day seminar will tackle this contradiction of art by approaching the issue of unpaid labor in the arts from a labor-centered perspective. Together with a divergent group of art workers, art mangers, scholars and activists, we will look at the productive ways in which art workers can escape the siren’s call of glory that urges them to work for free.
