Toronto, ON – October 2, 2025 – The University of Toronto Press (UTP), Canada’s largest university press and leading academic publisher, is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Canadian Pharmacists Association for publication of its flagship journal, the Canadian Pharmacists Journal (CPJ). Beginning in January 2026, UTP will assume full publishing responsibilities for CPJ.
Founded in 1868, the Canadian Pharmacists Journal is the oldest continuously published periodical in Canada and a vital resource for pharmacists, researchers, and healthcare professionals. It publishes peer-reviewed research, clinical insights, and practice-based articles that inform and advance pharmacy practice across the country.
This strategic partnership brings together two organizations with a shared commitment to excellence in scholarly communication. By joining UTP’s distinguished journals program, CPJ will benefit from enhanced editorial and production support, expanded distribution, and increased visibility within the global academic and healthcare communities.
